Drop in the N55, and you will have a beast like the 135i.

You know, if the profile looks like that, it'll be ok. Once they get rid of the fugly front end, I don't think it'll be too ugly, albeit, there are some korean econo cars that may still look better.

It looks somewhat better than the 1-series from the angle of the first render. I'm glad to hear that the 2-series will have a significantly different look. I don't think I could live with that front end.

Nice renders. I like the white one best. Its lines seem to flow the best.
The blue render isn't bad... but the mid section looks too 3er(nee 4er now!). lol You left out the Van! and X cars and Z cars... Z2, Z4, Z6. AND the new XZ cars (cross betwen the Z4 and X4) planned. lol BMW needs to get back to basics and stop trying to be "all things to all people". Pretty soon they will be taken over IF this (design) crap keeps up. Dackel |

The white one looks pretty nice. The headlights are way sharper than 1 Series. The distance between the headlights and the kidney grille is also shorter. Hopefully it will look like that.

Regardless of what it looks like, the 2///M will be what the ///M3 used to be, and this from a ///M3 owner.
I think if they do it right, many of us who own ///M3s will switch to the ////2M or whatever they call it because it will be lighter and probably a GREAT track car. Cheers, e46e92

well there will be
1,2,3,4,5,6,7... and various grand coupes of those then X1,X3,X4,X5,X6... then Z2, Z4... basically leave no hole unplugged i'm just awaiting patiently when they run out of numbers and they want to squeeze models in between so we have the 1.5 and 2.5 etc and i also found a gaping hole they are not fulfilling ...yet check out the Hyundai Veloster 2 doors on one side, and one door on the other can't believe this slipped by the BMW Marketing men
