Controlling F20 external lights via the OBD2 port

Hi all,

I work in the TV entertainment industry and someone recently made a firmware for a Orange Pi (similar to at Raspberry Pi) that allows it take an input single of DMX (used for controlling industry lights). This firmware then converts it to a UART signal which goes through an external board with an OBD2 port on it.

The part i am struggling to work out is what signal or information the car wants to say flash the lights via DMX. Everything upto the OBD2 part i fairly understand and i have some form of understanding of using Bimmercode to change things, even had a play in expert mode.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Andy
