M exhaust in UK for M135
Hi
Has anyone in the UK had the genuine M exhaust fitted yet? I've asked the dealer a couple of times now and they don't know of it. But I keep reading abut it and really want it on mine. Also does anyone know where there's a stock vs M video? Cheers |

Brilliant. Madgambler, if you get hence to do a couple of videos before you swap over that'd be great. Maybe one of the start up sequence (right pipe only) and then at tick over or running? You'd have many grateful friends I'm sure.
Do you have a part number because the BMW still says unavailable for M135 and my dealer still denied knowledge this morning!!! |

A comparison between the standard, M Performance upgrade and the Bastuck has already been posted here with drive-by footage:

UK Part number appears to be: 18 30 2 293 765. Listed as a 'Silencer'. Does anything but!
1,100 GBP final cost with fitting, VAT and 'discount'. Gorgeous noise.

Lovely. Cheers.
Does it still have the black tips or is it stainless steel? Any chance of a picture? Glad it's loud. My neighbour has a VXR8 so I want to make mine louder to wake him up like he does me!!! |

As a matter of interest. What happens to the stock system that gets taken off? Does the dealer just take that and bin it or do you hold on to it?
Sorry, never modded a car before as other manufactures don't have the same own brand performance stuff. |

Stainless steel pipes with ///M badge laser etched in to the top. They're about an inch or two wider again as the stock pipes and stick out more at the back by about an inch. Pretty fat-looking : )
The drum-like muffler seems to hang lower behind the rear bumper, so it's probably bigger too. Again silver-grey, not black. I asked to keep the stock unit. It's sitting in a huge cardboard box in my hall right now. They had to cut it off and use a sleeve to connect the new item, so I don't know how re-useable it is. But I plan on using it as a sculpture piece anyway on a 'wall of mods'...
