Hi all,

I have a 1 Series F20 2013 (63 Plate) and after upgrading my idrive to the latest software via the bmw update site. I still can't seem to get album art to show at all.. and I never have either.. I drove a 2014 bmw f20 as a hire car whilst they did some work on mine, and this showed my album art along with my brothers 3 series which is a 12 plate.. I'm connecting using the Y-cable to my iPod and no matter what I do in my car I can't get it to show the art..

I know it will seem to some as nothing.. However its really bugging me and if anyone knows why/a way around this it would be a great help, cheers.

i belive album art works only with nav pro..

It worked on the 2014 F20 though with the standard iDrive, I have the upgraded one with Nav (all shiny screen, same size as original)

It only works if you have Enhanced Bluetooth with streaming. It's the combox in the trunk you need actually. Then you don't use the Y-cable, just a normal iPhone-USB cable.
