I've been seeing this pop up here and there for the past 3 years, and it still makes me wonder how many they've sold.

Apparently iconel is like titanium on crack. It's used primarily for race-only products and are found on various cars in various professional racing series. I suppose only the most hardcore of race enthusiasts and track monkeys would do this.

This would be probably along the same lines of someone upgrading to a carbon ceramic brake kit and Motons.

Not exactly, Inconel has a much higher corrosion/heat resistance over titanium but it so heavy (much heavier than steel) i dont understand how someone could use it for an exhaust on a performance car, it is used inside the hotside of a turbo for the turbine fan blade that gets hotter than any exhaust... Titanium is already overkill for an exhaust, borla uses T304 stainless steel and has a million mile warranty, what more could you need...

There are idiots who pay $10K per rim for heavy-ass blinged out spinnaz for their Escalades. Sadly, this will probably do alright.
