Just did a recode for someone on their 2012 116i Japan spec radio (basically changed Radio_Country = Australia in the Head unit Traffic section) and it worked fine. Screen was working as was radio.

He drove home and rang me, says it now says "No Signal" in orange on the screen. Is there some correlation between Bimmercoding and this error? He doesnt have the car long and Im hoping I havent stumbled into some problem he already had that will get pinned to the recoding he asked me to do...!

For this model of headunit i doubt its the coding. If it was working after coding then it might be another issue.

I have a BMW F20 (2012). Replaced my iDrive but the new iDrive doesn’t show anything, just a blank screen. Showed ‘No Screen’ in the beginning then went blank. If I connect the old one it still works normally. Please advise, thanks.

FYI: radio, A/C works normally.
