I had the sad misfortune to be at Watkins Glenn for Francois Cevert's fatal crash in 1973. It was the first F1 race I ever attended, a outing between High School and College. The whole weekend was a very down note.

Would be a shame if one of them had to step down. But the potential for conflicts does seem real. As professional as both of them might try to be, it would be easy to slip up with your partner...

Have you considered that Susie Wolff is the perfect person for this job. Her background and experience makes her the ideal person to be managing director of F1 Academy? Not that I don't also share your dislike for Toto but some how I expect a FIA end run on this one.

I was there too. It happened during Saturday's qualifying. It was to be Jackie Stewart's last GP but he (and Ken Tyrell) withdrew the team and left the track.
We started attending USGP's in '65 and were also there in 1974 when tragedy struck again when an eerily similar crash killed Helmuth Koinigg during the race.

I have to admit I when with friends and had not really caught the car bug yet. As I recall I didn't have a drivers license then. My second car was a 1973 Triumph GT6 I ran in SCCA solo one and two. Small world.

I say, 'IF the FIA finds evidence that Susie Wolff leaked private information , then Susie will follow Shaila-Ann Rao in a blink of an eye ..
In other words : Once the FIA discovered that Shaila-Ann Rao was part of Wollff's spying BlitzKrieg . Shaila-Ann Rao disappeared like in a magic trick show !

I'm pretty sure, Susie is a spy in Wolff's BlitzKrieg-Episode 2 !
