Yeah, yeah, yeah... Price is Right is not my thing. But when you're stuck in the jury pool room, the group didn't like my suggestion to put CNBC on the TV and instead went with the Price is Right. Trying to be funny but failed.

I believe he was the victim of a bait and switch. Upon careful examination of his mail order bride, I believe he found a tattooed inscription with the words "Made in China" and as such, returned her.

Not yet known if he received his money back.
That would be unfortunate. He's in Calgary so he could've saved his money on shipping and come to Vancouver for a large selection of Chinese goods if he didn't care about country of origin.

Ahh, but said goods have already tasted North American freedoms and a corresponding hit to the prior perfect scores on subservient / deferential attitude has been taken.

I believe he is searching for an unblemished example.

KSCarrol - this is not the first time he's asked for a dead person's belongings. In case you were wondering, the "M" in MKSixer stands for "Mooch".

Meh, I just told my wife I want to go back into the office and work Valentine's night.

It has been suggested I reconsider. She is going to see if she can rope her parents into watching our offspring on Monday (civic holiday) so I can work Monday instead.

Otherwise, I'm going to be looking after them on Monday while she's on call and I might work Valentine's then. Not that I really intended to do much for VD...maybe cook a nice dinner.

We don't really celebrate it that much.

We don’t either. Our anniversary is a week after VD and I argued from the very beginning that to celebrate VD would cheapen our anniversary celebration a week later. I got a little bit of a sideways look, but it worked! I get off scotfree on VD...woohoo.

Well done.

Just this morning, I was arguing that we shouldn't celebrate Valentines Day if she was not going to observe the March "holiday" being Steak and BJ day.

She advanced the view that just because I made up a day in March doesn't make it as significant as Valentine's Day. Counsel for the defence proposed that my opinion on what constitutes a day of celebration is in no way inferior to whoever it was that first made up Valentine's day and thus equal weighting should be given to both.

The jury is still out. But counsel for the defense is already considering avenues of appeal based on the looks received to their closing arguments.

Defence could use some help from the forums. Any female input that could destroy her case? bimmette and Lups ? Otherwise, I think I might lose this one. And I do truly hate losing.

Surprisingly, that too is a...umm...*bone* of contention. She is watching my red meat intake carefully. Something about me going to wind up with a poo bag and what not when I'm older if I don't cut it back.

But I do love steak. Among other things.

Sounds similar to the idea that eating sugar leads to "the diabetus." Just eat some Quaker oatmeal the next morning.
