coilovers RWD vs XDRIVE

Hi everyone. I've done a lot of research but haven't found a definite answer. I have a BMW M140i xdrive and am considering which coilover to fit.

Here the problems begin. some brands (bc for example) are only available for the RWD version and according to them they don't fit the xdrive version. ST for example has a version available for RWD and one for XDRIVE.
Then comes Ohlins which only has one model which is good for both RWD and XDRIVE version.

I only found a thread on a forum of a guy who confirms that there are no differences between the rwd model and xdrive.

How is all this possible? I hope to find answers to my very big doubt.

Thanks

Surely, as the car is basically RWD, there should not be a difference.

The Xdrive just adds FWD so the fronts could be different.
