Isn't folding seats and bluetooth handsfree standard equipment on these cars?
I can't comment on the price, as it would cost a LOT more in Norway. |

If it's on runflats and your roads aren't that smooth, I would seriously consider having a 17" wheel rather than the 18". I have the 18" on mine and I prefer the ride of the 114d loaner on 17" wheels I have for now.
Yes the 18" wheels look great but expect the ride to be quite firm.

The regular brakes are excellent on our 116i, even for track use. I guess the M-Sport brakes can take even more heat, which could come in handy on more powerful versions of the F20/F21.

Regarding folding rear seats it's standard. But if you add "S465 - Folding rear seats" you'll get through loading system (40:20:40) and folding rear arm rest with cup holders.
I don't have S465 but I do have folding rear seats (60:40) with no arm rest. So if you want to spend you 300€ on something else, check this up. |

I can't even order an xDrive 1-series in the USA.

Softer setup absorbs the bump and maintains contact, firm is great but depends on the roads you will travel over as I said. UK is shocking for rough surfaces in many places so big wheels and short sidewall can be jiggly. Hard has nothing to do with age, try an Ariel Atom I loved driving that.

Just a question, does anyone know if this feature is available in this model?
http://www.bmw.es/es/es/insights/tec...ctive_steering My dealer told me this feature came with the sport variable steering wheel, but I can't find it anywhere :S |

And pretty strange to show a 1 series when explaining the system on the website and not offering this for that model (http://www.bmw.es/es/es/insights/tec..._steering.html) Also found this: Where you can see that 1 series should have this option |

You can have Avtive Steering on 1-series. This system, part of the optional Sport package, electromechanically adds a positive or negative steering angle to the setting chosen by the driver, via a planetary gearset integrated into the steering column. This reduces steering motion at low speeds (say, while parking) and when negotiating tight turns on curvy roads, requiring only two turns lock-to-lock rather than three. It also makes the steering much more direct at high speeds.
But the rear-axle steering are just from 5-serie and up. |
