Not an issue more a question
Hey guys loving the car Had my car about 4 months now and had a squeak / squeal from the engine on start up and tick over, car went in and they replaced the water pump. All fixed... Until last weekend the engine coolant light appeared so called BMW assist they said I had a leak as the coolant level was about 2 inches below minimum. They was then rectified when they fixed this yesterday with a modified water pump. Just thought I should let everyone know .
Is it possible to play music via Bluetooth as I have an iPhone 5 and the y cable and lightening adapter does nothing but flick from syncing on and off!! Nightmare any help guys?? |

Back again....
Admittly missed a post as my front left window motor became faulty. Replaced by BMW dealer within a day. Auto wipers have never been very good but have got better with software update. Guess what? The front right motor has now failed!!! Basically when i close my window it decides to open all by its self. When I do manage to close the damn window (by process of tricking the motor to stop) i lock the car and long and behold it opens. Beware after the new window motor was fitted to my car my indicator within the mirror stopped working. So going to go and have this sorted also asap. Had a previous blower issue which has now also reoccured. Took it to bmw who resolved the issue with a software update?? Brakes used to squel but they have actually stopped now... With a software upgrade from bmw.. Thanks |

My 125i is going in next week to fix a knock in the suspension. Coming from the front right area. There's a knock when reversing slowly or moving the wheel from left to right. There also seems to be a ticking noise when I make 'spirited' left turns.

My car broke down three weeks ago while I was in Germany. Car started to shake in low rpm’s, so I went to the closest service to check it out. Problem became so big that I had to leave it there. They noticed that one cylinder isn’t working correctly, so they exchanged spark plug, ignition coil, CPU and nothing worked. At the moment they are waiting to replace fuel injectors – the deliver for this part is around 2 weeks :/ Things that worries me the most is, that they have no idea what is going on. Even people from BMW Munich are surprised and said “we don’t know, because the car is to new” If fuel injector’s won’t help, I will apply for a new car or my cash back. I do miss my car though :/

1.86m tall, after adjusting the the seat height and tilt I have oodles of space above my head in my 125 with sports seats. Unless by helmet you meant pope hat I don't think you experienced the full range of adjustment of the seat.

I am 1.89, and I have plently of space for a helmet in our F20 116i, even with the seat back in a rather steep position. Our car has no sun roof.

How did it turn out? software-update solved the break-pad bug? mine is (falsely)reporting the pads are almost worn out too. When I went to bmw it seemed like they've had alot of cars in for this, they said it just needed a software-update so I'm going to have that installed in a couple of weeks.

It is normal under these conditions, as long as it disappears after a while...if it stays there, then there is a problem.

if you want to verify that you don't have any problem, go somewhere dry, turn on your lights for 10min while the engine is stopped , the fog should disappear after few minutes because of the heat the lights produce... if the condensation isn't gone, then go to your dealer |
