Actually I went out yesterday again, the GPS indicated 248 kmh at speedometer at 260kmh, so aint too bad and with a slope it will easily go faster than that Actually drove also next to a friends stock megane 3 rs with 250hp, we were as fast as each other from 120-230 with the lead changing a few times due to different gear ratios. Then above 230kmh my car slowly drove away. |

Interesting. So you have 18.6 percent higher top speed than my stock car, which has 139 hp at the rear hubs in a dyno test. That indicates that you have around 232 hp at the rear hubs. Impressive.

But isn't a stock 116i limited to 210 km/h? I read somewhere that the lower powered models are limited to 210 km/h so they can use tires with lower speed rating for base models.

Exactly, the 116i is electronically limited to 210 kmh... on my speedo it showed about 213 km/h when hitting the limiter, didn't matter 4th,5th or 6th, up-/downhill et cetera

But it doesn't feel like a limiter on flat ground. With stock power, the car struggles to acclerate at high speed. It takes forever to get from 200 to 209. Even without a limiter, I don't think it could do more, except for downhill.

It probably has a limiter, but since it's so close to it's real top speed it's not noticeable then. My 116d with piggy-tail box stopped at 210 (GPS). |

Used the Perfexpert App today (as mentioned prior in this thread), took some time to find all the information needed, but reckon the result is near reality...Sadly I dunno the real weight of the car, but reckon this should be about right, as it says 1375kg in my german licence papers. Hope the link above works |

Nice results! I have made many pulls with the PerfExpert by now and I am really amazed by the consistency! I trust that more than the local dyno.

Can't seem to find a real ECU tune for my M135i here in Australia yet, so just running the piggyback... but i found someone who offers a different way to do it, which is apparently done by taking out the ECU and tuning directly to the computer. It's software and not removable. Which may void warranty.
Anybody with thoughts or experience with this? thanks |

Pretty much all engine tuning will void the warranty, except when the tuner takes over the warranty responsibility. Schnitzer and Hartge will do that. |

@ jaycoh, bench flashing (removing ECU for remote tuning) is also an ECU tune. You can flash back to stock, so in that sense it is reversible. However, it may not be 100% undetectable.
@ brainy, if you are comfortable removing your ECU and sending it overseas, it is a 4-7 downtime by express courier. Otherwise, you can also check out mcchip-dkr which TS divx has installed, they have a dealer in sydney. They probably have the unlocking equipment required without having to send the ECU out. http://www.mcchip-dkr.com/en/dealer/dealer-worldwide |

+1 I am in contact with Upsolute.com about a custom tune for mine now...since 4 days no answer. I usually never get one asking these questions.

Hello to all.
What seems really strange to me, is the fact tha nobody "cares" about the new turbo pressure (ct/over), because nobody has mentioned anything. Of course the power is welcome, but if your turbocharger now works near its limits, it doesn't seem good to me (temperature rise, turbocharger's life, etc.). |
