Tried my best on these as I'm usually partial to the grill, but did a HOT pan sear in butter and chopped garlic followed with 5 minutes in the oven at 375.
Overall, I'm happy with the result, but I think I seared them a bit too long. Live and learn. |

One thing that I did learn to make myself is some low carb chocolate chip cake. Easiest thing I've ever made, basically throw egg, almond flour, baking powder and some coconut oil into a bowl, mix it all up, throw some dark chocolate chips in it. Microwave for 1:20 and you got "cake"! |

Last night: cabbage rolls...seasoned ground beef and rice mixed with tomato sauce. Wrapped in cabbage and drizzled with the tomato sauce. Baked for 30 min.
Tonight: homemade shrimp egg rolls!!! |

My Mom's side is from Slovakia, so this is practically a traditional meal on get-togethers. Its definitely an acquired taste, lol. I couldn't even stand the smell of it growing up, but can't get enough of it now.  I think we put sauerkraut in ours, but not certain. |
