What about hydraulic vs electronic steering systems -
you , guys , named some really nice cars using electonic steering, like BRZ and so on, BUT.
///M cars are still supplied with hydraulic system. 1M , M3. Even the latest M5.
Why ? the answer is that its more precise and accurate. And gives u the road feel you can't compare to electronic one.
PS And yeah,as someone mentioned above - E82 has the same system paired with DSC simulating the LSD work.

Seats remained the same, except its stitching form ,probably )
Brakes - i really doubt they made it any better than old brembo 6 piston brakes. My optional M-sport 4 piston brakes on 328 are times worse, than that. There is a guess , that they do fit the same break system on M135.
I doubt hydraulic more accurate than electronic, just better feel.

Their MPG figures are inflated as they use a larger "gallon".

Check out the cartoon movie "Cars". That's what the 1 series screams at me. I don't care how fun it is to drive, I want to be impressed every time I look at it. I'm not a fan of the Challengers, Mustangs and Camaros at ALL, but at least they have a ballsy look. Just my opinion.

I love watching those driving scenes... but like you said, it's so boring after awhile... i actually and literally fell asleep last night watching it...

I am still not getting over that "ugly" face...
I dont know man... it's pretty ugly ... I really wish they designed it better...

While I understand your point, the FAIL goes to AUDI.

The RS3 is a complete joke!

I think that the USA guys would alter their views if the F20 M Sport was available there.
The F20 M Sport Estoril Blue in the flesh is flash.

Perhaps, it is a European thing to make bold styling as something everyone talks about, then they get to like it for being a new direction.

The original Citroen DS had very large lights when it first came out and now it is noted as a Icon of style.

Perhaps you should take notice that nearly every new car coming on the market is coming out with emorous light sets. Some of them go halfway along the fender (guard panel) now.

It seems that the big light the new bling on cars. Look at all the new Daylight running lights in all sorts of shapes. At least the F20 looks serious when its angle eyes are on, unlike some of the others with iluminated eye brows

M135i is the better car for sure and I don t think that the AMG version of FWD A Class will be at this level

It is going to be awd and AMG chief notoriously stated in an interview that they want their car to be "better than a 1M in every respect" and working hard on it so I doubt that it will have big problems to put M135i and others in trouble on and out of track. Of course, than we will probably have more clarity about the next M2 so it will be a new and thrilling game starting. One thing is for sure though, the baby Mercedes AMG will not be anywhere near to a M135i pricewise. Honestly speaking, I believe it may be a more worthy rival to next M2 than the RS3/TT RS were to 1M (speaking about fun generating capacity and rewarding driving dynamics here, nothing else).

Here another quote about what they are planning for this 4 cylinder, 2 liter, 7 speed DCT, awd, min. 295 lb.ft and 350 hp compact car:

"Our goal," according to Mercedes-AMG boss Ola Kallenius, "is to build the most dynamic, most powerful and at the same time most efficient four-cylinder series production compact car."

I also hope that BMW M division is aware of approaching new rivalry from cars like this (or an Alfa 4C) and will give us an exciting M2.

M135i is the direct rival of the new Audi S3.
AMG A Class will have a higher price than these two models and I don t think it will be as fun to drive as a future M2 (RWD).

I found two more videos of the M135i.

The sound when he floors it (around 50secs) is superb!
