I guess. But since I tend to go after girls who have their own shit they tend to put their own skin in the game. AKA picking up meals, buying gifts, flights, etc. Despite even my protestations the current girl does what she can to try and stay 50/50. I could see if you're flashing cash at gold diggers or sugar babies.

Also the big expenses are, well, expected. Going on a trip, well, if you want a girlfriend for the trip you're still spending $3k on the trip and THEN paying for the girlfriend, whereas Im not paying that additional expense. So the math doesn't seem to add up. The only guys I know (who have admitted to) getting a call girl were the single ones who wanted some company on a trip like to vegas or the beach. If youre in a relationship and trips like that arent already fuck fests then youre in the wrong relationship.

Not that it would ever work for me, Im a low-level germaphobe so the whole argument is untenable to me.

Absolutely. One of my best friends has a place in SR in one of the high-rises on the beach and it is the best. The GF has a place in Tampa right on the water, as well. Not that was an influence in dating her, at all. Nope. Not one bit.

Here in Germany the pandemic and lockdowns had brought few relationships and marriages to an end in-between some of our friends.
Onto one hand this shows me, that they had never really been so damn close together that they are be able to withstand the forced closeness.
On the flipside a further thesis would be, that some anger had grown hidden and the lockdowns had released them.

My personal opinion is, that getting into a relationship under the current situation is an advanced test for both of them. When you are never forced to live so close to another, you have to change you mind and skip maybe long enjoyed habits or you wouldnt make it.

This is critical. With my current, gf, we decided to have a long and open conversation about the good, the bad, and the ugly from our entire lives. It was one of the most cathartic experiences I've ever had and served as the foundation of what we have now. I've had connections with others, even recently before her, and the major difference is the following: This is easy. The passion of the past is there but an ease of being and openness exist with her that I've never had before. She says the same thing. This openness leads to a level of trust that is the best I've ever experienced.

Thank you MK. I truly appreciate that. I'm an odd one, when it comes to women. I'm way more transparent than a person would expect. For some, it's hard to tolerate and other's appreciate the fact that I have no filter. I just feel like being 100% open/honest, it creates that level of trust that you speak of. Even if a person doesn't believe what I say, because honestly, some of this shit is hard to believe, they are then forced to look back on my track record and then realize; I'm not full of shit. This, then, trickles down to other aspects of the relationship. Sex is great, but sex with someone who fully surrenders to you, is something all together different.

The previous was always holding back and I later found out the reasons, which I won't go into here. If that trust isn't there, it permeates through every aspect of the relationship and limits everything that can be accomplished.

Awe, I was so close! Even the umbrellas are similar to Seascape's.

Love this entire area and it's grown tremendously. I haven't been back in 8-9 yrs, so all the land to the East in Santa Rosa, that's been developed, was nothing but forest last time I was there.
