UNDER $20

- Trader Joe's Belgian Cookie Collection. Family friendly. Good variety, and there are some good cookies in there. https://www.traderjoes.com/home/prod...lection-037892

- Book. Adaptations: From Short Story to Big Screen: 35 Great Stories That Have Inspired Great Films. This has been a go-to gift for the people I just don't what to get. It's a collection of short stories that have been made into films (not all of the films are great). Rear Window, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Memento, Shoeless Joe Jackson Comes to Iowa (guess the film), and so on. The editor writes a little bit to give the stories and films some context, and some background on the author. ISBN-10 ‏ : ‎ 9781400053148

I was going to be a jerk and say how I felt about the quality of the suggestions so far, but I'm closing my mouth and instead providing something that may actually be useful to our significant others.

At least you are clear where you stand in the hierarchy. I've only a general idea. I am relatively certain I'm above a sharp stick to the eye, but anything nicer than that, I'm not positive.
