If you have just the rears then no button. In the Auto moving out of reverse stops the noise too. Cheers Lee |

Hi, as you also drive in Norway with temps abow and below zero. Are you happy with the rear wiper operation? On my car it never takes high on the glass, and the wiper arm feels very soft. Have you or anybody else seen this?

It seems to work fine so far, but I don't use the rear wiper very often. The shape of the car gathers dust like a magnet to the rear end of the car, making it very dirty very quickly. I don't like to wipe a dirty window, so I prefer to wash the rear window with plenty of water at gas stations now and then.

At the request of an owner, it is possible to modify this default logic to "Last user mode." With this logic, the current MSA's activated or deactivated setting is stored and used on the next trip. |

Once programmed, It will then operate in whatever mode you have it in when you turned off the engine. I leave mine in the 'off' mode, so when you start up the orange led above the button is always on. As usual, BMW service will charge like a wounded bull to do it. I am so happy I had it done. I had a bit of a chuckle yesterday, I was crossing a road at traffic lights when a new M5 pulled up at the lights and then shut down. I could see the expletives coming out of the drivers mouth as he pushed that button. restart I motioned to him to wind down his window, I informed him that I had mine reprogrammed and the associated cost. He said he did not care how much it cost, he would get it done as soon as possible. He thanked me, then drove off (what a glorious exhaust sound). |

What have BMW been thinking when they designe the filling of washer fluid on the F20?
It's almost impossible not to spill washer fluid when you try to fill it because og the design between the filter and the reservoir. |

I prefer to buy the washer fluid in floppy bags instead of cans. That makes it easier to avoid spillage. |
