I took the car in yesterday to get some dealer parts installed and everyone who works there said it sounds better. Most of them I talked to said it was louder at idle.

On a side note, the guy who delivered my car said only the North American ordered F8x's will get the Michelin tires (same as last year). All others are being fitted with Continentals.

Not black chrome, but aluminum. The outline of the vents matches the shifter, the door handle and M4 plate on the door sill.

just called. mine is estimated to be completed the following day, 8/19, in advance of my 9/5 ED pickup. these are good times, indeed.
