Hopefull as commented in here (http://f20.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=644417) x-Drive is also going to be available for the regular engines! But at least we know that they're thinking in an all wheel drive for the 1 series.

No prob. I am bummed by it too as I think a small four door BMW would be a great option, especially an M derivative. And I hear you - the expected flurry of new model introductions leaves for a lot of anticipation.

Crazy that the Z4 doesn't get either (though the 35is might as well be an M Performance car).

Yeah, I have to believe they'll rebrand that as an M Performance car once they switch to the N55.

Or, for starters, just a 128i period. They have the 125i now (curiously, the only N20 model to use the *25i name) with 215hp, but so far have not introduced a 128i. I think the F21 might bring a 128i. Apparently that car has been bumped from Geneva to Leipzig, so it'll be a little longer before we know.

looks like their going for a SAC concept,much like the x6 and the soon to be x4! probably will be launch as the 1 series first but when they will change it to the f47 which will be the x2 in 2016-2017

those levels of spec...

I wish they kept it simple... now it's not enough to be seen in M-sport pack,
you'd have to go M-Perf to be respected by your peers ...

I'll just have the tame Luxury F30 version.. nothing to proud of anymore...

I know this kinda has become the cliche thing to say.

But in less than a year, BMW has managed to watered down the M-brand more than AMG. They are slapping M-badges everywhere. Hate to say it, but AMG now has more prominence.
