No way that will get off the ground. Long ago ruled out drug states or addiction as grounds for NGRI. And even with proof of abuse (or pretty clear indications) the menendez boys are still in jail.

I'm thinking affluenza is his only way to beat this one.

To me, there's no question that despite all the "to blave" stuff on the surface, the true theme of that most excellent film is the love of a son for his father. Hence, we watch it every Father's Day.
