hmmz, tried to make a bit of an effort to see if I could get the fuelconsumption down a bit... been driving one tank at about 90% eco-pro, tried to stay calm most of the time not beeing too heavy on the accelerator. Ended up at 6.5L/100km (measured), the I-drive stated slightly optimistic again 6.0L/100km.
mostly daily commute 60km or so back and forth.. majority 70-110km/h roads but with a bunch of stoplights and some queuing.. bit too high?! But on longruns driving hours on highway @ ~120 it does drop to 4.8L/100km. oh well, guess I'm not the best at driving like granny on valium staying below 1500rpm at all times ;p After all the car is about driving pleasure/fun. Knowing the power is there it's hard not to unleash it |

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I've just found out that the automatic box versions do also come with Start&Stop system to save fuel while the car's stopped, right??
If so, how does it work in the absence of clutch??? |

Do you not have to put it in "PARK" first before the engine will shut down ? Or is it simply the brake pedal that signals the restarting of the engine ?

You don't need to put it in park or put the handbrake on just come to a stop and press the brake pedal, as soon as you lift off the brake the engine starts, no need to press the accelerator

The fuel consumption is pretty low.
But most of you drove mainly in eco pro. I'm curious about the fuel consumption in Sport mode, exterior, but spirited driving I want to compare with my vw jetta 1,4 tsi 122 hp, 6 mt. On exterior the fuell consumption is between 7l and 10,5l per 100km, interior between 10l and 12l per 100 km. Thank you. |

Vladberca, what I've found interesting is the large variance between urban and extra-urban consumption. Extra-urban, it's really really good, I got 5.9l/100km on a long trip driving at around 125km/h in Eco Pro.
Under normal urban driving conditions with the occasional sport driving section thrown in though, I find that I struggle to get below 9l/100km. If I try really really hard on my 5-10km trips around town here, I barely get in the low 8s. For a short 2km trip from home to the office, I simply cannot get it below 11, as much as I try. I've found that at idle and parking, it eats fuel at a rapid rate, often 16 or so. My previous car, a Renault Megane 1.6 (albeit with only 83kw) consumed a bit less in short-distance urban driving conditions... |

I normally do an average of 60-80 kmh down under. Average of 30km. In the beginning with Eco pro. I had no idea why on a full out eco pro I hit 6.2 at one moment and went up to 7-8 eventually. I kept resetting it thinking it was an error.
However with a recent road trip, I noticed it even out with longer distance driving and now I average w 7.3 with mixed driving. Mostly comfort plus sport on occasion. I haven't tested long distance driving W eco pro. But is it safe to say there is not much diff in short term driving when u take Eco pro versus comfort?
