2 of the 4 'valves' show different start up readings every journey ... seem to settle down after 4 or 5 miles..... the other pair (same axle 'mates') never vary !
the worst one will initially show 0.2 to 0.3 Bars higher than its 'mate' on the same axle - but more worryingly it starts at a far higher temperature than its 'mate' - often some 7 or 8 C higher - again after a few miles, it levels out, dropping temp a bit and the 'mate' warms up so they usually end up within 1 or 2 degrees C ... No idea how they work, or if they are supposed to be 'matched' in some way .... certainly do take a long time to reset with the calibration run.

Thx - does sound a similar issue - except for the 'twang' description .... was pretty sure it wasnt the firmware hike for adaptive suspension issue !

Did the adaptive FW tweak work ? Any details of what's involved ?

Dunno, thats all the Tech said when I collected it ! I did notice that the I-Drive screens behaved a little differently - eg coming back to Trip detail after being in reverse (rather than main menu), and also not defaulting to any particular menu item in 'MyVehicle' on start up ... The TPMS values continue to behave oddly on startup and 1st few miles ....
