I like that one, no color to the rocks and "hey look at me" yellow.

Love the desaturated background, Paul. Nice shot!

Here's a shot of a local church that I'm shooting:

those are some freaky looking flowers... like a mini, abstract swan attached to them. Nice shot!

Very nice shot. Yeah, churches really are fun to shoot. Such interesting design and architecture.

One thing I find fascinating about the church that I'm shooting is the stained glass windows are original Tiffany windows from 1917. The rose window (pictured) is the third largest Tiffany window ever produced.

Not a great shot in itself, but I had to post it since it shot with a big white lens...
The $13000+ Canon EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM.

I didn't even know we had anything that fancy in our neck of the woods. Where abouts is this?

Yeah, I was pretty surprised myself. It's in Franklin, PA. Apparently the church has a collection of 30 original Tiffany windows that are valued in the range of many, many millions.

Yikes. I'm surprised they're not surrounded by plexiglass.

I'd be willing to bet that nobody has a clue...including the congregation.

Well, my 13 year old had her first rock concert. Not to shibby for her first live go at this. And all these years I thought she wasn't practicing.

Oh no, it's not mine, that'd be cracy.

Just got a chance to try some big lenses.

I believe they are protected from the outside, but not inside.

They are well aware. The church hosts Saturday morning "Breakfast with Tiffany's" once a month where they discuss the history of the church and windows.

Here's another shot of the church interior. It doesn't showcase the windows as much as some of the other shots.
