The front you presented just looks a bit basic and needs needs some development. The proportions and layout look good, but it needs more work before you can license it to BMW .
Have a look at some of the details that BMW put into the design of their car and the subtle lines they put into their styling updates that are really small details in many cases. Especially the front bumper / apron, the designs seem to keep adding more intricate details all the time. The F20 front bumper is one of the most complicated and intricate I have seen - I think that one is an abomination since it looks like they are trying a bit too hard. The coupe front end that you posted reminds me of the R34 Skyline, a car with minimalist and sporty styling that I like. |

Well I think its getting better.
The headlights shown look better than the Audi A5. Audi A5 lights are much more oblique and have the gay looking light stripe. If it was as easy as fitting an Audi headlight unit, BMW could probably fix the styling of the F20 in time for the Frankfurt show! |
