not a mercedes fan, their styling has always been off for me.

agreed, but i'm sure like most German cars, the interior keeps getting better and better...

In person the cars are very similar, its only a slight update and face lift. Though I can't say I'm a huge fan of the side vent type things, the interior has gotten a bit nicer as the interior of the current gen 230 had started to look a tad dated(IMO). The front end over all looks much nicer, with the point making it look much meaner and more sporty. Course they did that same point type styling to the 211 as of 07(I think thats when they did the update on the e class?).

Edit: to used to talking in technical names and this is a BMW board not mercedes, 230 is the SL and 211 is the E class.

i like it my dad has the new C-Class. it looks hawt!
he has a C300 AWD.
but he wants to upgrade to a C63 AMG!

I feel like the facelift looks grafted on, but maybe im just so used to seeing a SL a certain way and this throws me off. For now I prefer the older styling and for that amount of money I would but a porsche or BMW

Big bucks right there...

Unlike the Acura's of the world, I actually think MB is zero-ing in on the mark with their latest designs. Some of their new cars are very nice looking.

benz comeback... they need to stop the rumor of bad build quality and start paying for customers maintenance again though
