After installing them, the turn signals, vibration, wipers and all buttons works, but the steering wheel heating does not work. When you press the button, the light comes on, and when you release it, it immediately goes out. The steering wheel clock has a heating function, all the wires are connected. With the old style steering stalks, everything worked without problems. After installing the part, I did not do any coding.
You'll need a new steering wheel heating switch from F15/F16 or 2-series Active Tourer.

I just did this retrofit on my G30 LCI but I can’t get the steering wheel adjustment functions (telescopic and up/down) to work. Is there any coding I might be missing?
Here’s what I changed:
∙ LIN_VARIANT_SZL → szl_us_aic_4band_fla (just without _r before install)
∙ LIN_VARIANT_SPARE_SZL → szl_aic_4band_fla (it was nicht_aktiv before)
∙ SZL_TYPE → unlocking_szl (it was locking_szl)
One thing I’m wondering — do I also need the pre-LCI 7-Series steering column adjuster switch (same donor as the SZL module I bought)? I’ve tried multiple other values for LIN_VARIANT_SZL and everything else works fine; it’s just the steering column adjuster switch that won’t function.
Any help would be appreciated.

For the steering wheel adjustment, you'll need an older adjustment switch. If i remember correctly, the part number is 61319365877. There is different P/N for the LCI. If you have heating on your steering wheel, just choose one without heating (as the old one had heating within the adjustment switch).
