Saw it in the news, and didn't share it because the media has an anti-BMW bias that I don't wish to perpetuate. If the asshat was driving a Hyundai, this wouldn't have even made the news.....

Some people get crazy behind the wheel. They feel slighted or disrespected or insulted. You can't have that kind of attitude when you're sharing the road with the public. Can't take things personal because they probably aren't meant that way and even if they are you have to control yourself and act like a responsible adult.

NEW: A 72-year-old Georgia man has been arrested after hitting two cyclists with his car in a road rage incident.

Jerry Ross pulled up behind a group of 10 cyclists blocking the road, honked and heckled them, then sped around while laying on the horn and struck two riders, causing minor injuries, before driving off.

When questioned by police, Ross blamed the cyclists for taking over the road.

He faces charges including two counts of aggravated assault, hit and run, and reckless driving.

I disagree, regardless of who, it would have made the news, that's was awful

I got no anti-BMW vibe, other than they said a BMW was towed,

Had nothing to do with the car, as you said asshat driver

Although I wonder what oil he used and wether he gets his car serviced at a dealer ?

I'll be honest, I'm not saying people should be injured, but damn it, some cycles are just total a$$wipes, they dont obey rules of the road, jump reds, drive on pavements.

Then wonder why car drivers hate them and they get injured.

No insurance needed, no license needed, no lessons needed, yet share the road with 1 ton of metal next to them

I was driving last summer, got to an intersection, 4 way stop, stopped, then started, 2 bikes, husband and wife, wife stopped husband just blew through, nearly killed the motherfudger. I stopped yelled at him and and told the female off saying you did the right thing, but dick wad over there is going to get killed.

She looked very embarased, was with my DD and top down. If I had killed the guy I would have done time and hate to think of the PTSD both of us would have had.

also just saying, I used to TRY and cycle to the rules of the road, after heart attack, I used to cycle round my block, I used the road, instead of running over pedestrians AS I'M SUPPOSED TO DO.

I'm pulled over the side AS I'M SUPPOSED TO DO, stopped at stop sign AS I'M SUPPOSED TO DO.

Thies douche pulled along side me and asked "what kind of vehicle I was" if I was NOT recovering from a heart attack I would have f'd him up,

So now I used the pavement and I have a bell and often yell "coming through" or cycle at night with my blinding LED light for both cars and pedestrians

Cyclists, pedestrians and motor vehicle drivers can all be dicks, that's for sure, but that guy used his vehicle like a weapon.
