I'm 27 and started losing hair when I was in my early 20s. I think one of the medications I take has a side effect of hair loss. I stopped caring, lol.

God bless, I am brown, so I can grow pretty good facial hair. I just have my barber give me a buzz cut and line up the beard.

A part of me wants to just do a buzz cut but 1) I feel like I have an egg shaped head and 2) i have 2 scars on my head one of which is from a boat propeller (front middle of the head) and the other from a trampoline (back of the head), for those 2 reasons i dont think i could do the buzz cut thing....hair transplant and nutrafol in the meantime it is

Or, and hear me out for a minute, you DO do the buzz cut and just come up with better stories that support the look that you might be dangerous...rather than clumsy.

Deep sea diving for pirate treasure when attached by a great white that OP had to wrestle away with the aid of only a knife. The shark got a couple of gashes in but quickly realized he was overmatched by OP and swam away.

Something along those lines?

See OP? This is why this board is fantastic - we're going to come up with stories for you!

Helpful SOB's that we are.

My dad was on rogaine for like 20 years. I don't think it did shit, but he swore it slowed down the thinning. My hair started thinning in my early to mid 20's and he made me use it. As noted here, I wasn't into rubbing random oily shit on my head just before bed. Certainly not in the morning before I head out for the day. I ran with it for a couple weeks to humor him and quit it. He then suggested I take propecia or whatever the main pill was 20 years ago, and I scoffed. My mom had me try some random 'herbal' pills. And some shampoo (still sold at costco - forget the brand name) that I quit quickly because I didn't feel like it properly cleaned my hair. Didn't last long on the vitamin pills either.

My hair is thinned out to the point where I have to keep it short, or I accentuate my baldness. But it has held on more than I would like, where I still have to give myself a proper haircut (guards and a fade). I'm eagerly waiting for it to finish thinning out so I can just shave my head - will save me 15 min per haircut. I have a similar issue as you - when I shave my head, I look like a gangbanger. I work in corporate America - not great.

My opinion is that the common shit - drugs, sprays, etc. doesn't work well enough. If you want to be serious, need to do the uncommon shit that costs way more money.

Or just embrace aging naturally. And nobody cares about the scars on your head except you - if anything, they're interesting.

I like this a lot better than me running around the summer vacation home at 7 years old playing tag with my cousins, and running through the towels that were hanging on the clothes line blowing in the wind only to find out my father parked his boat right behind it in which I then proceeded to collide into

Yeah use the story I made up. Don’t tell that one.

As stupid as this sounds… https://www.target.com/p/nature-39-s...t/-/A-15471726

It’s all the same stuff that’s in the “men’s” treatments because, well, both sexes use the same nutrients to build hair skin and nails. It’s not sex dependent, so save your money and just get these. Start with 1 a day and increase to 2 or the full 3 pill dose once you see how you react to it. If you take ANY other vitamins, make sure you’re not doubling up on the same ones these have in them as you can easily OD on things like Zinc and a few others in there. You can certainly depend on these as a multi and if there’s any specific standalone vitamins or nutrients not listed in these that you were taking in other vitamins, simply just single those out and take separately. That’s about the only thing I’d say to be mindful of. Don’t worry about the pretty pink box… your manhood won’t turn into one by taking these. 😂

Look into a saw palmetto and pumpkin seed oil, do some reading and see if it would interest you. It worked well for me however my hair loss was due to a different situation

Started losing mine when I was around 18. Held on for a minute but started shaving and haven't looked back. I wouldn't spend a dime on any treatments

Same here. My hair started thinning around 18 and I think by 30 or 32 it was at the point where I just saved it. I'm 45 now and it have been shaving my head ever since. It is what it is and I was never gonna be that guy with a comb over.

Shave it off and wait for Pelage PP405 to gain FDA approval. The early reports seem promising but who knows.

Read the side effects for men. I'd rather be bald than have ED for the rest of my life.

I've still got a full head of hair but I'm pretty sure I'd shave my head and not worry about it if I was going bald.

Of course, I have no idea what my dome looks like. But I never see a guy with a shaved head and think, "His noggin looks funny".

I've always wondered if I have a turtle noggin. I almost found out last year. My son was diagnosed with leukemia and he went through the chemo treatment. I offered to shave my head in solidarity but my son said, "It's okay. Keep your hair." I was sort of looking forward to trying it but when he said no I gave up on the idea.

Good news is my son, while still bald, is doing great. The doctors are very pleased with his progress.
