Only just started getting this strange ticking noise a few days ago. I’ve had the car for two years and this is the first occasion it has made this noise. Just wondering if anyone has an idea what it could be? It only happens on a cold start and when the car is warm I no longer hear it.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is probably the typical rattle noise of the turbocharger's wastegate under the thermal shield....nothing to worry about

It hasn’t always been there it’s only recently just started also the car has 74000 miles. I have uploaded a video on the original post.

My turbo shield started rattling last winter, at about 66000 kilometers.

So did you hold the shield (to make sure it's it, unless it's a cold start it might be hot!)?
