m135i spark plugs to 116i
hi again. i remapped my ecu to 200hp 310nm in our forum they are changing the plugs with m135i plugs. today i went to dealer and noticed the 135i plugs little taller than standard 116i plugs. is there any problem with it ? can i use it ?

Any issues using back the stock ones for tuned engines? I'm not sure if there is any improvements.
You did the ECU tune? I remember you mentioned about failed engines after tuning, did they isolate the faults or directly link it to the tune? |

Denso make Iridium plugs for the N13 1.6:
https://www.buycarparts.co.uk/denso/7744982 NGK version is ILZKBR7B8G 97968 I believe its a cooler running one. I wouldn't risk plugs meant for a 135i. |

I am running MHD stage 1 tune on F20 116i also with N13 engine. I've had the MHD stage 1 tune with OEM plugs for 2 years, no problems at all. After that, I changed (they were getting old, not broken) plugs to OEM BOSCH (ZR5TPP33S) for M135i, not much of a difference really, but it can be considered as upgrade as far as the quality goes. For futureproofing, you can go with M135i plugs. There is a difference in size but they fit no problem what so ever. Hope it helps.
