So here is the first how to for the F20 in this forum, from what i can see...
The task: Fit a dashboard mount to the F20 Why: Because i hate suction / vent mounts for my phone- the either leave a mess, or block ventilation! What do i need?:

What a good write up. Photos are really excellent and makes a great MUST READ if I get around to it....though I will do it in my jeep now just to get the practice in!

I just installed a Brodit vent mount. It literally took 30 seconds, is very stable, and is in a great position (between the steering wheel and iDrive screen).
I use to have my iPhone mounted left of the vents, but found it too distracting looking that far left each time (I use TomTom on the iPhone). Now it is right in my line of sight. Neil |

Do you know if it's possible to mount the dashboard mount you use on the right side of the console (you know, for left steering cars)? I use a Brodit Proclip in my current car and would love to have something similar in my F20.
Thanks! |

A company in Australia called Hold My Phone has 2 options that are click on, and don't require any dismantling of the dash:
http://www.holdmyphone.com.au/1841-1...tre-Mount.html http://www.holdmyphone.com.au/1841-1...and-Mount.html You can also select a bracket for your specific device.

Thankyou
part just arrived so will be fitting this weekend. Have had the car for a week now. Love the way it drives, but a few niggles that hopefully the dealer will sort out...
