'Refresh' coding
Hi All,
i'm not sure if refresh is the best word to describe. I encountered few times that when i changed to sport+, the suspension or steering feeling abit sluggish. usually its heavier and the adaptive suspension is hard. Ever once i connect to bimmercode to change some coding, then it is back to normal. Do i have to 'refresh' the coding once in awhile or there are something that caused this that i am not aware? Btw, im driving a M135i 2013 model. Sidetracking abit, i know that as a new member i dont have the DM privilage. May i know how many post or what to do for me to be able to use the dm function in this forum? Thanks in adv. |

No, should not have to refresh the coding.
If this was necessary owners who could not do it themselves would have to use a BMW dealer and pay to have it done. How old is your 12v battery? |

There is a date code on the battery.
It was two digits - K7 which is month K, year 2017 on my BMW branded AGM battery. Months are in alphabetical order (I is missed ) so January is A, and K is October etc. The two digits might be embedded in a longer sequence. |
