I personally love the new design, both front and rear! The new design combined with that understated but agressive look of the new M-Sport package is very promising. Fantastic job, Mr. Van Hooydonk.. you make me proud to be Dutch!
I'm looking forward to see what the LCI M135i looks like, because I couldn't find any pictures of it even in the gallery with over 100 pictures. What gives Scott? |

I don't like it. Basically, they swapped the ugly and dull ends, indeed. The real "unbeatable" drawback of the pre-LCI M-Sport look to me is the headlights (way) too large. Now that "extra" is "spread" into the foglights and the bumper. The headlights are narrower but not prettier, much unused space within. And the vulgar backend.

I think its nice but somewhat has a subtle look not aggressive with those lights. I do like the bumper upgrade. People will always have their opinions and at the end of the day if you like it you buy it for yourself not what others think. The rear isnt great even though I thought extending lights would make it look better. For all the f20 owners including myself if we aint happy with our fronts you can always just change it over! I still have to say the 2er front is more aggressive and if they used that it would have looked a little more meaner and aggressive

I like the way the led strip runs inside the taillight. But the housing of it looks too big for the car. Now it looks more x1 or 3 series touring like.

The F20/F21 used to look a bit like a VW Polo from behind, because of rather similar taillights. Now it looks more like a VW Golf!

It seems like there is more love for the diesel engines For petrol we have: * an updated 114i named 116i; * the old 116i became now 118i; * 120i is better than the old 118i, but not so much to be renamed again and inferior to 220i; * 125i - not the engine from 2AT (225i)! * M135i on par now with M235i. |

BMW just got some of the mojo back with the turbo engines.
How will they separate a 'real' BMW with RWD from a BMW with FWD I can see the future BMW will start putting letters in front like A112i for smallest, B for battery, HB for Hi-Bred and JS for just stupid Perhaps they will just change the jingle to BMW 'pleasant to drive' |
