I am surprised by the lack of comments to this thread
I was hoping that someone would have already done this upgrade and could pass on some advice about where to get the rotors. Are the M performance (option) the same as the 330i rotors? |

I think you'd want to be very certain about the quality of any replacement rotors that are slotted, or cross-drilled. I've seen some cracked slotted or drilled rotors at track days, which makes me very wary of them. As Ove notes, they're not necessary.

I gather that the fronts on your M135i are the same as the M Performance (option) Did you buy genuine or aftermarket? |

Hence the questions I am not a fan of Aftermarket products. I would prefer factory or a recommended reputable brand |

I agree with you that the term 'upgrade' was probably the wrong choice of words. For normal driving habits there is little advantage (apart from looks) Though there are some advantages with having engineered rotors that I do appreciate |

Sorry, I was under the impression that you wanted slotted or cross drilled rotors to replace your existing standard rotors. If so, there are 'aftermarket' available (Ebay) and some engineering shops can groove (mill) your standard rotor. |
