MK7 GTi was on my shopping list before I ordered my M135i. Cracking car, looks great, but not in the same class as the BMWs (125i or 135i).
Plus, on equivalent spec there was pretty much zero difference in cost; almost no discount from VW, yet a total of £5k off the BMW. No brainer!!!

Most people don't want to void the warranty of their cars by installing some hillbilly tuning box. Is that so hard to understand? Also, if the goal was to have a faster car than the GTI, using a tuning box is just utterly retarded. Those with GTIs can just do the exact same thing. Ugh, don't even replay. You're daft.
