3 likes vs 1 dislike
So, I'm in the middle of my waiting time for the deliver, and since I'm very impatient person, I'm also very board! It feels like I've seen all the YT videos, and I also believe I have read all the available reviews. Atm I'm reading instruction manual... - yes I'm that board.
Thats why I came up with 3 likes vs 1 dislike, because I would like to see what are yours top 3 favorite parts about your car's (for example: engine, HK sound system or the looks) vs one top thing you most dislike about your car sorry if thats a but Im just trying to get my daily dose of F20 - if you know what i mean THX |

1) Gearbox - superbly smooth and accurate (I have the 6MT) 2) Suspension - extremely controlled dampening, rock-solid feel, but still with enough comfort 3) Power delivery - besides the turbo lag, it's buttery smooth Dislike: Vibration, temperamental jerkiness of the engine and clutch shudder when cold. |

I hear you, I'm also waiting, 5 weeks to go...
Looking forward to: 1) BMW interior ergonomics, especially *seats* 2) RWD 3) Good brakes (brakes in the GTI aren't great) Expecting to dislike: 1. Sound of the N20 engine

1. Auto gearbox. As far as mass produced cars go, this is one of the greatest 2. Ability to switch between Comfort and Sport/Sport + mode. This allows my wife and I to share cars with great compromise 3. M-Sport pack. REALLY makes the difference in the looks of the car. Any car magazine that complains about the look did not review an M-Sport F20. My wife loves the anthracite roof lining. REALLY gives the car a more premium, sporty feel. Dislike 1. Still a great amount of hard plastics in the interior. Even though they are textured they still feel rough and nasty on the nails. Even my old E90 had more soft touch materials |

1. M Sport and Estoril Blue. A great combo with great looks and interior set up. I also like the anthracite roof lining. 2. 125i engine and Sport Auto gearbox. This is best auto box on the market, super smooth in comfort. Go into Sport mode with the shift over in in Manual position and playing with the paddles 'awesome'. For those who are commenting on the turbo lag, it is not lag you are experiencing, it is the auto box starting in second gear when you are in Eco and Comfort. Try putting it in Sport and see if the lag is still there. Switch on the Sport/Sport + mode and you will see what I am talking about. 3. M-Brakes. REALLY good. great feel and progression. 4. HK sound system Disliked 1. The stop Start function (now fixed- I had it changed to off or on at my command). Whatever it is set at when you turn the engine off is what it is set to when you start the engine next time- I leave it off 2. No automatic setting on the folding mirrors |

I have my 116i Sport for 10 months now, so here it goes:
Like 1. Quality of rolling and suspension comfortness 2. Auto Box 3. Engine Dislike 1. Driving position...cannot seem to find a comfortable one...when I do, I cannot see the bottom of the instrument cluster.

I am driving the 125i and do drive it with purpose. It is a turbo, so yes in theory there is always some lag, however it is not really noticable in the 125i (probably due to the better torque of the 2lt). If you drive in comfort mode it is sometimes there, I have not suffered from it in Sport when driven

The lag on the 116i is most noticeable in hairpin turns, where you are going directly from engine braking to wide open throttle. Cars with naturally aspirated engines with worse power/weight ratio gain several car lengths at those corner exits. |

Likes 1. Instantaneous power in Sports mode at motorway speeds 2. Comfort levels (ride and ergonomics) 3. 57mpg with 218bhp...just daft! Dislike 1. Comfort mode as default - utterly pointless mode without the adaptive suspension and makes the car feel underhwhelming. They should have given 'comfort' much stronger throttle response. |

@ ovekvam: in the 2nd gear in hairpin turns you feel that noticeable turbo lag?
On topic, after a test drive: I like the dynamics of the car in sport mode, the aggressive design when is opted for M Pack, the very good M brakes (at least for street use), the HK sound. Dislikes:... I don t own one yet |
