What are other options?
Hi all,
I'm considering an M135i but I don't like the wheels... what are the options? You need '18 and 245 rear and 225 front? And what about winter tires? |

You can also run 225-tires in all corners. The wheels need to have rather high offset, but there are plenty of aftermarket options. You need to run at least 18" to clear the big brakes.

thanks, but like to stick to original BMW.
The choice of BMW '18 is limited on the moment. The M wheels are not that nice on the pictures and video's. Is it normal that they make more available? |

I think it'll take while before new styles will show up.. I guess you have seen the M performance options?
Maybe also take a look at AC Schnitzer. Most dealers will be able to supply them and the quality is on par with OEM.

It should be possible to modify M12 to M14.
I am using aftermarket wheels meant for E46 on my F20. What was the fitment problem with the winter wheels from the older 1-series? |

I was told this M-Brake on my 125 is the same one as the 135. It is a very very tight fit on my 17" rim. Literally this is filling up the entire 17" rim. It's a pretty good visual impact. See the attached photo for your reference btw, I don't like the 18" at the moment as well. Look really really boring! Piero

You could go on realoem.com and compare part numbers of the discs...
I'm assuming they will be the same.

If your dealer is telling you it doesn't fit 17", you can show them this pic. If M135 is using the blue M-Brake, they are the same. It will fit on the 17" which look a lot nicer, just a very very tight fit. But I think it even looks better. Cheers, Piero
