My 116i and my friend's 116i
Hi guys,
Just received our new cars. We both ordered 116i, manual gearbox. Mine is Valencia Orange, my friend's is Crimson Red. Right away we installed 18" pre-ordered alloys. Sizes on both cars: Rear: 245/35R18, Front: 225/40R18 88Y Goodyear Run Flats. My alloys are the same as the M6's, my friend's are M3 CSL Black. Next to install: 1. Custom Chip (hope to get it to 205+- HP which is possible on the same engine with 118i). 2. Shadowed rear windows 3. Xenon lights Tomorrow i'll take more photos. |

Both look good...but the Valencia Orange looks GREAT!! I do not know if I would buy one, but surely I do like the colour a lot...it has a fantastic hue. Enjoy it!!

Lookin' good!
I heard rumors about losing your warranty if you decide to chiptune your BMW. Is it true? The first thing they do in the garage is hook up your car to a computer. So I can imagine they see when something's going on. |

Of course it is true...anything that you do in your car and it is not authorised by BMW, voids the warranty. Now, if the tuning is a reflash of the ECU, it shows on the Car diagnostics. If the tuning, is a tuning box, then you can just remove it before you go to the dealer and then nothing shows up.

Custom tune, with an ECU Reflash it is not possible at the moment. ALL the tuners who have tried, they failed after the new SW update from BMW. The ECU is locked in so many ways that at the moment is impossible to unlock it. Of course it is a matter of time...but I do not know how long it will take.

Sorry if it hurts, but for me it hurts to see beautiful rims getting abused with black paint in order to look just like black steel rims

Really like the wheels on your car, max. Nadavs would look soo much better, if they actually had a color. Like.. silver..!?! No offence intended, I just think painting rims black is an unfortunate waste of design. You just don't see a thing. Its just.. bland..
