Williamsburg, VA trip pics in the M3
went down last Saturday AMish and came back LATE Monday night. Had a great great time w Veronica, weather couldnt have been better, crowds were minimal since school is still in, etc. Perfect.
The route someone suggested worked out perfectly. Took rt 301 all the way down to rt 17 in VA. Rt. 17 is awesome!!! 60mph the whole way, 4 lanes total, NO TRAFFIC, NO COPS, SMOOTH ROAD CONDITIONS, GREAT SCENARY. Seriously turned out to be an amazing road for us. Then I got dumped onto rt. 64 in VA 11 miles from Williamsburg.....and that 11 miles took over 45 minutes . I'm so glad I took the country route, that heavy traffic would have driven me insane and caused massive cramping in my left leg. Pics, lots more on a little point and shoot but those have no interest to a car forum . Fueling up in Dayton, MD after battling w a brake pedal sensor for an hour....f that thing!! Thanks Adam for letting me use the garage again, I still need to get the car back out of there and finish cleaning up after myself....new job is keeping me BUSY. made it down to the hotel just across the street from William & Mary.....I present the Ho House. Not bad at all for the price, only $80/night off Travelocity. our scenic view.... W&M, part of their buildings. Great architecture and upkeep here for sure. Flowers outside W&M, gorgeous campus, makes Towson U look like the dump that it is. The main drag in Colonial Williamsburg. Apparently this street, from W&M to the capitol building, was the 1st mile walked off by George Washington back in the day. Cool stuff here. Great places to eat, this is at 'Wine & Cheese'.....clever name. They serve wine and cheese. Damn good though. You would be...if you ate down here every day As good as their beer, that means DAMNED good heaven M3 parked in its underground cave under the hotel, bonus points for the Ho House for this perk. Us Leaving out the last day At Busch Gardens, had an awesome time. Very short lines. I forgot how f'n awesome roller coasters are....damn. oh, and she got a ton of looks from the 'local talent' . Haters. Her other option was a short dress.....that would have been interesting on the rides lol. ok thats my trip. thanks for looking.

rte 17 eh? I plan on going to Williamsburg this summer. The last time I was there I think I was 13. From what I remember it was such a beautiful place.
Maybe I'll try 17 instead of the typical 95 south to 64 east trip. Especially if the scenery is nice. |

Ah I go to school there. It's weird seeing pictures of it on this forum for me.
Some of the guys in the frats here drive some really clean bmws. I know of an M5, M3, a handful of 2006 M3s that are modded and my 335 vert. The nicest car driven by a student is a bentley coupe |
