The G42 being slightly longer looks correct now at the back vs the slightly squab F22. I owned an F22 and F87 btw so love those cars, this just looks a great evolution to me.

Eh, I disagree. This is very M4ish with its super long hood and extended trunk. I prefer the look of the F22/87.

I just wanted to drop a few photos from an M240 I saw in person today. The tail lights are pretty sick. Need to be seen in person. I tried to capture how 3D they are.

Such an improvement over the previous m235/240i. That’s part of the reason the M2 is so awesome, there was so much room for improvement over the standard model. Super curious for the next M2 but I don’t think the difference will be as dramatic.

Saw one in person for first time in Brooklyn Grey, just off the truck. For $56k I don't think you can go wrong, put some wider wheels/tires on it with a drop and I think it will look great (those 225s in the rear have to go). The interior is a cut/paste from what I saw in my G82 M4, maybe a touch less flair here and there but it's 99% the same interior. If I were looking for a car right now, it would certainly be on the list as it's very nice for the price.
I'm really looking forward to the M2 in 2023, it will likely be my next car. I just hope they put the carbon buckets in it! |

Agreed. As a base car it looks great but unsure whether the M version will dial it up as much with the F87.
