Does any one think the f20 windshield quality is bad? I notice the bottom part of the screen is not very "smooth" as I can see some wave refraction on it when I try to see it from multiple angle from the driver seat.
it looks thinner than my previous toyota especially when I drive it when raining, it was noticeable more noisy when the rain hit the windshield. Last night, a VW (about 20 meters in front of me) kicked up the rocks on the highway and I heard one hit my windshield. It was raining and the hit was not very loud so I thought it didn't seem that bad, until I got home (in door), the windshield has one small chip at my eye level. I got mad I got several rock chips on my previous car with bigger sound but none of them has that hurt as on my 118i I don't think it is repairable and I am going to replace one. This is annoying as this is in the direct line of sight of me. |

I can confirm this feeling. I have already got a marking (1mm) on mine (very new 125i). Fortunately, it is on the top part of the WS. It was due to a very small (not so noisy) hit at 120 km/h on the highway. On my previous Toyota Yaris, I had many hits during five years but without any noticable marking....
