BMW M135i Bests Boxster for Top Gear Magazine Sports Car of the Year
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com On a sidenote it really pains me that I'm paying over $75k (USD) for my 116dA here in Norway when reading the verdict on this amazing car. |

HP has climbed up to at least 360 but probably more with overboost. Hard to gauge on a rolling road. 0 - 60 dropped to about 4.4 seconds.

I guess I'm one of the few people who feel your pain about prices - I shelled out the equivalent of US$63.000/€48.000 for my 118d manual |

320/332 hmm, why does that sound familiar
Does the M135i have the same steering set up as the F30, TG seems to allude to its numbness. If this is the case its great that in spite of said steering, they still gave the M135i the nod. Good to know

The M135i is the car to buy if you do not mind the ugliness.

still, gotta be blind to pick a 135i sitting next to a boxster. I don't like boxster as I'm a carrera guy but there's no denying that the 135 is butt ugly compared to the bolster, no matter how better it is

Is this really a win for the BMW? It's got a ton more power and is only faster in a straight line
Yeah it's cheaper, but c'mon... This base-model, 200 lb-ft Porsche is the cheapest car they make, and Porsche performance only gets better from here... BMW's only get heavier |

...and BMWNA don't want to bring this Stateside!?
Thanks BMWNA for this along with all of the horrible decisions you make in determining what us Americans want to buy. [Keep your Xdrive, give us back our Sdrive] P.S. I hate both of those terms, just give us our true BMWs back.

+1^ Exhibit B: the highlight blurb screams: "The BMW is the Best Sports Roadster on the Market Right Now and a Better Sports Car," even though the body of the article (on the same page, no less) claims exactly the opposite - "It's the best sports roadster on the market right now and I'd go so far as to say that it's a better pure sports car than the BMW M135i, full stop."

Lol please. The top model of the hideous 1-series vs the base model Boxter. If the Boxter is a possible purchase for you then you won't even glance at the M135.

Here in Hong Kong, m135i is priced at US$70,400 (a large portion is tax levied by the gov't) and a waiting time of a couple of months.
