I joined for another reason but remembered an issue I had some years ago that was resolved by accident and I hope this post is useful to someone in a similar situation. If this has already been posted I apologise but when searching didn't see a similar post.

The issue was after a new phone purchase my BMW F20 Bluetooth was intermittent. I found my car needed an update but could not get it to read any of my USB sticks.

I've worked in I.T. for over 20 years and know exactly what I'm doing when it comes to setting up a USB drive. Alas regardless of the many formats and partition sizes tried I could not get my car to see the update.

Then out of curiosity, I put an mp3 onto the drive to test if it can see that. The car happily played the mp3 and then low and behold the car was able to see the update on the next try.

So anyone else with an F20 not seeing an update try putting an mp3 onto the drive, play it and then go straight to the update. Worked for me

Thanks. Do you have .bin file to uptate bmw f20? I need ubdate bluetooth and multimedia. Best Regards, Juan
