Question on 8speed Auto Gear Box
I would like to ask something since this is my first time with auto gear box. During long stays on red traffic lights do you select the 'Neutral' or you just leave it on 'Drive'?? Is there any wear down taking place if you have it on drive? Thanx!

You can leave it in ''D'' (drive)....there is no problem, apart from a small increase in fuel consumption. No damage to the gearbox. If you are stuck in traffic for more than 1-2' you can put it in Neutral (N), just to save some fuel. All the above, aonly if you do not use Auto Start/Stop.

No problem at all! If you are in traffic, just use the start/stop auto option

Actually that was also one of my concerns as well, what causes more wear. Start/stop function or waiting in traffic light with Drive selected ?

Waiting with Drive in traffic light causes no wear at all. On the contrary the Auto Start/Stop function definetely causes wear on the starter motor and IMHO on the engine as well.
