Crimson Red 125i - Oyster/Wood Trim
Picked up this beautiful car on Saturday. Really impressed - car was specced for a luxury feel with a sporty edge. Only regret is no xenons but spec included:

Congrats to a lovely car! The Oyster/Wood trim on a Crimson Red is indeed a very nice combo. Never thought of that one before, but i like it a lot!

A life without xenon will be tough and demanding, but I'm sure you'll come through!
Congrats btw. Indeed a sporty car.

great colour. Haven't actually seen red in the flesh yet, but your photos are pretty good!
Congrats and enjoy! |

For the price of all this extra logistics they probably could install consequently the best knob, nicest stick, big screen, black panel in all cars

Well its not just the knob. Look at it, it has more buttons and more functions concerning the moveability of the knob. Also the nav pro display is noticably bigger than navi business or radio pro (they somehow have to justify the extra money for the pro ). Ok.. the shifter.. but I guess that thing is just so cheap, they don't care. Also the shifter is an item where the customer is used to get customizability over decades.

950 km's
Mainly commuting with the occassional opportunity to open the throttle. Engine is exceptional for a 2.0L and do not notice the turbo at all. 90% of driving in comfort mode which has more than adequate torque to put a smile on my face. I have tried sports mode briefly and the car turns into a beast and makes me want to race every motor on the road. Eco pro only good if your running out of fuel or your missus is driving. Oyster/wood combination is absolute class and looks stunning with the crimson red exterior. Love the professional nav, large screen, 3d imaging and bluetooth audio. Radio reception disappointing although HK system is absolutely superb. Only other niggle is snap in adapter as a $350 extra - wha a rip off!!! Extras I wished I had ordered: 1) Xenons 2) Aerodynamics kit (not available in red) 3) DAB What I may retrofit: 1) Black kidney grills 2) M Performance 125i exhaust system (if approved for Australia) All in all 9.5/10 and I have barely pushed the performance. Very happy customer..... |
