Hi,

I am looking for advice regarding my F20 2014 EGR Valve. I have removed the old valve as of it failing and put in a new unit. The car runs fine however occasionally goes into limp mode and after 30 mins of driving it goes out of limp mode (it also stops by turning the car off and on again).

Does the EGR valve need to be programmed to the ECU or can it just be a case of a faulty new unit?
