I think it would definitely be cool. So would a M340i wagon. The trouble is, aside from the Merc G45 "SUV," the BMW would start at a price probably a bit higher than the Focus and Golf end at. Those cars are niche market, price-justifiable but just. The BMW wouldn't be. As cool as it is, I don't think there are enough of us that would consider it to make it viable for BMW.
