On a track it's more driver-dependant. Audi driver doesn't seem to push hard, but even if he did - what's from that? Even if a FWD could fly to stars I wouldn't be interested.
AWD is just a compromise. Pure speed - why hurry? To finish (end the experience) ASAP?
The track clip is a dull sight indeed.
