"In theory" 5w can be better in hot climate from being less appropriate in cold weather. But you simply shouldn't bother with the winter grade which is just irrelevant in hot climate. BMW's ///M oil I mentioned is 0w40 only(?).
haha the only oil i can get from BMW south Africa is the SAE 5w30(shell oil) which is currently in the car but i want a good 40 weight. of the choices i have listed above what would you go for?
