I'm keen on this area b/c I hope it will steer them back towards performance, and less for the luxury market. I can't see much market for a luxury hot hatch, but a performer to challenge the GOLFs would make a ton of sense (at least to me). And it would be a springboard for younger entry-level buyers to get into BMW cheaper, then work up to a 2 or a 3. With 300+hp and x drive, I think it would dominate this class.
